PAPER PLAYERS CHALLENGE # 45

Isn't this a sweet card, I love the way it turned out. I've seen similar cards with three graduated sizes of flowers and thought I'd try my hand at it.

I used the Bold Blossom stamp set(Stampin' Up), stamping the stem 3 different times, each time just a smidge shorter. Added the flowers in Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Bermuda Bay inks. The Daffodil Delight large circle (PTI Limitless Layers die) makes me think of the sun shining down on the flowers, love that shape! A colored rhinestone for each flower and they're ready to bring a smile to your face.

The "Merci" stamp is also from PTI , I really like the font style with the larger capital letter. I also measured and drew lines to form a border around the entire card. This technique is also from PTI.

Thanks for looking and leaving a comment.

TWO POSTINGS IN ONE DAY!

The first card is cased from my daughter, although we worked on the card together it was her creativity that makes it so special. As a matter of fact she was a PPA Pick with this card. Check out her blog for the details on this gorgeous card.

Here's a peek at the inside as well.

The second posting today is for another friend's upcoming birthday. She and I have some memorable shoe shopping experiences so I thought this card would be appropriate for her.

Supplies for the second card are from SU:
CS crumb cake, tempting turquoise, very vanilla
DSP Patterns Stack.
Stamp set: Things I love
Top note die, scallop punch and Word Window
Chocolate brown twill ribbon (not SU)

BUILD A BLOSSOM

What a gorgeous stamp set this is, I think it looks pretty in any color. I have several birthdays approaching in April and May and thought this would be a good choice for at least one of them. Maybe even more than one in different colors!

Supplies: CS Whisper white
Stamps:
Build a blossom
Inks: Tempting Turquoise and Olive Green
Pattern paper: SU's DSP Patterns Stack Brights collection
Misc:
White glitter on sticky strip

Here's a peek at the inside of the card minus the Birthday sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by to take a peek.
