Bring on the Bling!

This is a card I thought would qualify for the Pals Paper Arts PPA65 Challenge. I imagined this tree would look very pretty all dressed in Dazzling Diamonds (DD) (although it's hard to capture the glitz in a photo). The designer paper is "Night & Day Specialty" with the tree stamped in black Stazon. I used my glue pen to touch some of the dots on the tree and then covered with the DD's, added a border punch from Papertrey Ink, some black pearls on the border and white ones on the black velvet ribbon (could you even tell it was velvet)? The sentiment stamped in real red ink on white and matted with a touch of Real Red CS. Of course had to line the envelope (a little tip I picked up from Mary Fish) which I think adds to the elegance of the card.
I've also added a photo from the side trying to capture some of the glitz which really makes the card stand out, hope you can see it.

What a fantastic tree! Adore the DD covered tree, it looks just like snow. And the new border is so elegant especially with the black pearls. And I love the touch of red with the sentiment. Bring on the bling, indeed! Great job.
