Cas-ual Fridays - #18
Woo hoo what a great idea from Cas-ual Fridays creating a clean and simple design using a book as inspiration!
The book I just finished reading is Nicholas Sparks' Safe Haven. I thought it sounded so much like the name of a boat, plus it takes place in South Carolina in and around boats in Southport. I'm really not a boater or fan of sailing, but this image is so serene and calming I thought it was perfect for this book.
The photo doesn't show the dazzling diamonds I touched to the waves around the boat. I also ripped out a definition of "safe" from an old dictionary for an added touch, the black cs is also embossed, but again hard to see in the picture.
Hope you like my project for this challenge, thanks for lookin', love to hear from you.

Wonderful card!
Beautiful, Nancy! Very clean and classy!
Nancy very cool! Love the blingy waves and the dictionary page! (we must be on the same 'wave- length'... Love the whole theme (safe haven)and color scheme. Very nice. Hugs.
Great take on the theme! Love the ripped dictionary page and the embossed background coordinates beautifully with the dazzling waves! Great job with the challenge!
Nance, didn't think the embossed background even showed up, of course you'd see it!
Luv,
Mom

Had to come back say I LOVE your blog makeover! So YOU! Love the colors and polka dots are a favorite of mine, and little birdie is sweet with an eye of bling.
