Masculine card

Hi there, been a while since I've posted a card, but here's one.  I needed a birthday card for a male and this is what I came up with (with very limited supplies)!

I used SU's Natural white card stock which is nice because it already has a little texture to it.  I think a "man-card" should be rather CAS, don't you?

I scored a couple of lines across the bottom to intersect with the adorable little focal frame.  Since ribbon would be too frilly or girly I opted to use a twine double wrapped with a (make-believe knot) and a brad from my stash.  Guess the photo doesn't show the score lines but they are there.

I know, I know too many shadows, but it's so sunny and bright I had to take the picture in the shade.

Notice the cute little matching envelope too.  I'd show you the inside of the card which is also decked out, but I forgot and already wrote inside.  Take my word for it, it's cute.

Supplies:
SU Natural White and Espresso card stock and some unknown striped paper
Frame from PTI's Framed Out #3
Sentiment also from PTI's Think Big Fav # 12
Twine and brad unknown.

Would love to hear your comments on this card, so please leave me a line or two.

Thanks for lookin'
Nancy

Nancy so happy to see your new post and I know you must be missing your "stash" but you did just fine. Great masculine card and I CAN see the score lines if I enlarge the photo. Very nice and I love your lined envelope..of course. I also 'know' the inside is a perfect match.

Now get yourself HOME! hugs.
