Here's a picture of a card I made for a friend who gifted us with a 6 month supply of coffee from Hawaii, such a generous, kind friend we think of him each morning (hee-hee).
I thought he'd appreciate a thank you card with this theme as he is a business man (plus it's difficult to create "man" cards, I think). I used a tip from my daughter Nance Lempinen Leedy of Canopy Crafts who made this card sometime ago and actually cut a slit, inserted the smaller paper with the stamped sentiment, I thought this was so cute. I inserted a blank white panel inside so I could hand write a note of thanks.
Supplies used:
All Stampin' Up, oops except the banner which is a wine tag die from Papertrey Ink.
Feel free to leave me a comment regarding this card, I'd love to hear from you and I'd like to wish all my blogging friends a
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Nancy

This is such a cool card! I love the layout and colors.
Great layout, Mom! I love the grid paper--so perfect for the typewriter...and I love the way you've made the sentiment look like it's scrolling out of the typewriter! Perfect guy card, he'll love it!
Nancy what a generous friend you have! I Can't agree more. Great thank-you card. I too love to have the paper coming out of the typewriter - so cute.
I do however, think it can be a perfect card for either male/female.
And WOW... what a great gift you recieved too. You know how I love my coffee! What a great friend! hugs.
Nice bloog
