SPECIAL DELIVERY

A friend, fellow golfer and scrapper's DIL finally gave birth to a healthy baby boy Seems like all of us have been waiting 9 months along with her. I've had this card ready to roll, just waiting to hear the words "he's here" and that occurred late last night.
We knew she was expecting a boy so the colors of course had to be blue. The "Daily News Herald" stamp was stamped onto designer patterned paper with an overlay of vellum, just over the bottom 3/4 of the card front. The focal image was stamped onto the vellum and then a second "stork" stamped onto designer paper, fussy cut and popped up, along with an itty-bitty heart placed on the baby bundle.

Here's the card, I hope you like it as much as I do, it was a fun card to make and now I can mail it!

Thanks for looking.

Nancy just got back to blogland from Mexico trip and what a great first stop! This card is absolutely adorable and I was so happy to see it up close and personal before you left Michigan...(still sad).
The colors and details are fabulous and LOVE the vellum newsprint. How cute! Hugs.

Thanks for your kind comments, the baby card stamps are from Papertrey Ink.com. One is a Background Basic: Newsprint the other is Bundle of Love. You can view both of them online as well as many of their other great stamps. Again thanks for your comments.

Aww, Mom this is so stinkin' cute! Love the newspaper stamped right onto DSP and the fussy-cut stork is adorable! I love how he pops in that color and the heart on the baby bundle is the perfect touch! I'm sure they will love it! ((hugs))
