I finally got around to making a "Welcome Baby" card for some close friends who just recently had an adorable baby girl. Hope you like the card.

The paper is digi paper from MTME the adorable stamp is from SU "Baby Steps", don't you just love the little heart from the Mama Ellie. I tied a piece of Pink Pirouette ribbon, topped it with a narrower black and white polka-dot ribbon, added two of SU's crochet flowers for a dash of color. You may notice I dry embossed the envelope flap with a design I thought similar to the pink paper.

Since I was on a roll I thought I'd line the envelope with the polka-dot paper to tie it all together. You can also get a peek at the inside design as well.

Thanks for looking and I'd love to hear your comments.

Nancy, your card is gorgeous!!! I love it. Those polka dot scallops and ribbon add so much. Love the flowers and tags. Beatiful, inside and out!!! Hugs,

Nancy - Pink and Black always look so prety together. The momma and baby elephant are so cute for a baby's card. Your polka dots are terrific on the scallops and then again on the negative inside. LOVE the flower with tiny tags... So pretty.

Awww, this is soooo stinkin' cute! Love that mama and baby elephant and how you colored that tiny little heart! The polka dots on the scallops and the ribbon look wonderful together and I love the pop of crochet flower. And the inside is just as lovely as the outside!

oooooh..... love, love, love this card. Love the little dotted scallop border under the focal image. The touch of black and white polka dot is just perfect to lift the Pink.
