Aren't they cute I think they're adorable. My own daughter tells me if I start wearing these in my hair, she's definitely going to take me under her wing! Guess I'll just have to see them on my granddaughter and my little visitors.
Here they are...I made so many I couldn't get them all together in one picture, so you'll have to scroll through.
My daughter, Nance Leedy of Canopy Crafts saw these cute little butterflies on Allison Ohran's blog Sweet Impressions and sent me the link, click here for her tutorial. Although mine aren't quite the same as Allison's she did all the hard work of figuring out the dimensions, Thank You Allison! They are made from 3 different ribbons as well as tiny little antennae (can you see them?) on the front of the hair clip. These two will be mailed to my granddaughter, just waiting for her to return from a fabulous vacation.
Here's a different view, making it easier to see the antennae
Here are a few more hair clips, I made from felt and flower dies of course I had to add some glitz!
And one more set, I know they look the same, but they have different leaves attached. I think the "Handmade" button card is the perfect holder for these cuties.
What do you think? I'd love to hear from you.
Nancy

OH MY CUTENESS! These little girls are going to go gaga for these clips! As for your daughter, stick your tongue out at her & wear them anyway ;) The butterflies are super clever, and you're right, the handmade tags are really just perfect for these sweet gifts.
Nancy how cute are these! I saw the blue flower and butterfly up close and personal... too cute. and the PINK flower is GORGEOUS! Love your touch of bling and of course I noticed all the differences.... {smile}. I especially LOVE your button cards to present these little cuties to the girls. They will just LOVE them, I can almost hear them squealing now. Hugs
I love the variety of clips--they are all cute! The girls will love them too. :-) Thanks for the link and for letting me know too!
Those little girls will love these. Very clever and thank you so much for the idea.
