SYMPATHY CARD

So sad to need a card for a fellow golfer friend whose husband unexpectedly passed away.  Our thoughts and prayers are with her to help her and family through this very difficult time.

I wanted my card to be a simple design with few embellishments and the sketch at the paper players this week was perfect (also that it was a sketch designed by my talented daughter Nance Leedy made it even better).

I opted not for two separate pieces across the front of the card, but used my scallop punch twice and inverted one piece on top of the other, so in reality I guess there are two pieces!

 A glimpse at the inside...

All supplies from Stampin' Up
World of Dreams stamp
Thoughts & Prayers
Scallop border punch
Very Vanilla & black cardstock
Gold and black inks

Thanks for stopping by and please leave a comment. I love to hear what you think.
Hope your day is FABULOUS!
Nancy

Nance... You've been busy this holiday and just noticed. Sorry but I've been busy too.... right? As for this card, it is gorgeous! Viv will love this.
I Love the entire design with double circles... You are so clever to invert the scallop punch too and the splash of watermarks and the touch of twine.... is fantastic and a perfect finish to great design.

Now I am also proud of you for figuring out the watermark signature! You'll have to help me.... hugs.
