A thinking of you card
This is a card I made for a daughter-in-law and son of a dear friend in Michigan. It is a sad situation so I opted to send a "Thinking of You" card. The picture isn't too good as you can see when I photographed it some of my writing on the inside shows at the top of the card. I inked the inside of the embossing folder with Bashful Blue ink before running it through the big shot. I hadn't tried this technique before so I was pleased with my first time result. I decided to keep the card clean and simple and not add any other embellishments other than the ribbon and sentiment. I also ran the envelope flap through the Big Shot using the same embossing folder. I thought it turned out quite nice.
Supplies used: SU Embossing folder (newest one)
SU Whisper White Organza ribbon
SU Teeny Tiny Wishes
SU Bashful Blue ink
Small Brayer roller

Beautiful! The brayer technique really makes the beauty of this folder pop. The clean & simple style really highlights the embossed detail too. So pretty.
VERY pretty Nancy. How funny is it that we posted on the same day using the same color! Fine minds must think alike. 8-) Very NICE.
