Even though I've never participated in a blog hop I thought I'd try the PTI June Blog Hop challenge.
I did find it challenging, but then that's the idea, right? I had many thoughts and ideas before I finally settled on this one. Still not sure, but then I always seem to doubt myself and decided to go with it.
For the design I decided to use one of the June release stamp sets Gracious Vases which I adore by Maile Belles at PTI.
I first spo
nged each of the colors onto white card stock then stamped the make-believe shelf using the bottom of one of the images from Mat Stack 3. I then stamped an assortment of the vases, some overlapping to mimic the use of four items in the inspiration photo. I really like the simplicity of the card as is so I just matted it onto a coordinating card stock and adhered it to the card base. I just couldn't leave well enough alone and had to add three clear dots in the upper left hand corner, just cause it looked lonely! Nancy I love your card interpretation! It reminds me of a southwest sunset for some reason......but that's a good thing. Your vases look fantastic on your make-believe shelf and I LOVE your 3 clear dots! Hugs.
