CAS-UAL Fridays - TIE ONE ON!

Isn't this a cute title CAS-ual Fridays selected for their recent challenge "Tie One on"? Their challenge is..."With Mardi Gras in a few days we thought it would be fun to have a gallery full of Clean And Simple Party cards with ribbon".

I started with white card stock added a panel of Bermuda Bay stamped with the same color wood grain stamp and framed the panel with a scallop border.

The ribbon I used was a narrow striped ribbon which I basket wove onto a small piece of card stock, alternating the strips of ribbon to give it an interesting look (I think I remember doing this craft many years ago in Brownies or Girl Scouts, do you)? I die cut two frames to place the ribbon piece into. Stamped the sentiment on the side and that's it.

Here's my card...
oops, I took the picture outside and didn't notice there was a itsy-bitsy green bug on the upper right hand side of the card, oh well you get the idea, right?

Would love to hear your comments on my card,
thanks,
Nancy

Nancy all I can say is you've have much to much time on your hands if you can weave ribbon into a spectacular focal point! This just looks absolutely fabulous in those double frames! Wow!
Love your woodgrain BG piece with the scallops edges too.
As for the tinsy winsy bug... well...everyone likes a party, right? Hugs.
