BACK TO SCHOOL RULES CHALLENGE #107

The Paper Players has their first challenge for the month of  August and this is my interpretation for Back to School.

I used a dry embossing folder with the cute little all-over apple design, colored one of the apples, stamped & then cut down the library card image, added my stamps and tied it to the ribbon (I used a few pop-dots to keep the library card in place).

My focal panel was just a smidge smaller than the card base which allowed me to add a 2-sided green border to pick up the ribbon color, and that's a quick and simple card finished.

Items used:
Embossing folder (unsure of make)
Whisper White, Old Olive S.U. card stock
Library card stamp from Papertrey Ink
Real Red and Basic Black S.U. inks.
Old Olive  ribbon & white  Bakers Twine from S.U.

I'd love to hear from you with your comments on my card.
Thanks for looking,
Nancy
