LOOK WHAT I DISCOVERED!

Don't you love it when you discover another use for something other than what it was intended for? I do.
I have been admiring the line drawings on Nicole Heady's blog where she adds a square or rectangle line drawing to the front of a card . I did follow her directions and did a lot of measuring, but since math and fractions have never been my strong suit I improvised and found an alternate way of drawing the lines.

I used the photo corner punch as a guide.
You can see in this picture ever so faintly, the little tick marks where I have placed the larger photo corner on my card in each corner and lightly marked with a pencil in each direction. Then using your ruler draw a straight line from one mark to the other without a lot of measuring. Once I have connected the markings I just erase the pencil marks.

Here is the finished result. I used Melon Mambo and Pumpkin Pie inks on the Medallion stamp, I really like the way it turned out. Of course I had to add some sparkly .
Do you think it's too much?
You're right there's never too much bling!

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment I appreciate it.

Too much? There is no such thing when it comes to bling...YOU taught me that, LOL. OMG, your tip with the photo corners punch is GENIUS! I totally admire people who can draw a line around the card--love the look but can never do it either. Now I can too! And look what you've done here--it's gorgeous. Love the multi-colored medallion off center and the drawn line is just fantastic. And the little stamp inside the bottom right corner, perfect. GREAT job!!

PS: I LOVE the line art and wanted to do it a class but had second thoughts, but this tip is the bomb! Hey YOU can be a quest teacher! [smile}. LOVE it.
